What an exciting time to be a member of Dunwoody Baptist Church!
As we embark on this adventure together, moving from dreaming and vision to tangible plans, let us keep our focus on the overarching purpose of this undertaking---to better enable us to share the love of Christ for the glory of God and His Kingdom. Our teams and committees will keep us in check and make wise our steps, but the inspiration of God and fire that has been fanned into flame will motivate us to rely on God and the Holy Spirit for the next chapter in the life of Dunwoody Baptist Church.
Prayer Focus:
Ask the Lord to speak to you through the 40 days of this devotional. Spend time in prayer seeking His will for your life. Thank Him for the opportunity that we have to unify our campus and minister to our community.

Gracious and Generous God, thank you for the amazing spiritual legacy that is Dunwoody Baptist Church. You have worked through her pastors, her lay leaders, and her people over these five and a half decades. Your presence is felt here, people have been obedient here and the desire to Love God, Love People, Make Disciples and Make a Difference is strong. We stand on the shoulders of those who have gone before us and we praise You for the legacy that lives on by Your eternal Spirit. Now it is our turn to stand and be counted among the faithful and the devoted. Now it is our opportunity to make a joyous and sacrificial offering that will help to ensure that future generations will come to know the love of Christ at DBC. Please grant us wisdom and courage as we prepare to give nothing less than our very best for the building up of your Kingdom and the expansion of the gospel of Jesus the Christ, in whom we pray. Amen.
